Introduction
There are three places where your subscriber count is displayed.
On the home screen
On the subscription overview page
On the subscription detail page
The following article explains which metrics are displayed on each screen and what they mean.
Note that it might take up to 1 minute for all numbers to be updated. This means that within 1 minute after a customer subscribes, you can see the updated metrics.
Home Screen
The subscriber widget on the home screen displays your total number of subscribers as the main metric. These are all contacts that have at least one subscription (single or double) and whose most recent activity was subscribing. It is the same number that results when using the "las activity was opt-in" rule in campaigns or condition node.
Underneath this number, we display how many unique contacts have either a single or double opt-in. The double opt-in count indicates the number you can reach with a marketing campaign while staying GDPR-compliant while the single opt-in count determines the number of contacts you can send transactional messages.
Note that the sum of single and double opt-ins is not necessarily the number of total subscribers. A contact with both a single and a double opt-in still counts as one subscriber.
Relative changes:
The relative changes (percentage values) indicate the following changes:
Total subscribers: indicates the relative gain/loss of the total number of subscribers
Single/Double Opt-ins: indicates the relative gain/loss of the total number of subscribers of this type (single or double) over the last 30 days
Subscription Overview
The subscription overview page shows the following metrics:
Net change double opt-ins: Number of double opt-ins gained in the selected period (unique users agreed to receive marketing communications and did not unsubscribe).
Net change single opt-ins: Number of single opt-ins gained in the selected period (unique users agreed to receive marketing communications and did not unsubscribe).
All of these numbers take the date filter into account which is set to the last 30 days by default.
Growth chart:
The growth chart displays the net gain over time split by subscription type (single or double opt-in). Click on the items in the legend to filter the view for only one subscription type.
Subscription Detail Page
The subscription detail page displays the same metrics as the overview page, just for one specific subscription.
