1. Navigate to Contacts Import
Go to Audiences → Contacts Import → Create Import → Create Import.
2. Name your import
Give your import a name, and always toggle on the “Continue on Error” option to ensure the import process continues even if errors occur. Then, select Next.
3. Download the Excel template
Download the Excel template for the import.
Note: Please use the exact template you downloaded for uploading to Charles. Do not alter the format or the columns in the Excel file.
4. Fill out the Excel sheet
Fill out the Excel sheet with the required fields:

Phone Number: Number format
Organization Name: Text format
First Name: Text format
Last Name: Text format
Email: Text format
Date of Birth: Text format
Phone number format
The phone number should be in the following format: “4930000000” (including the country code, but excluding symbols, blank spaces, or "00" in front or after the country code).

Date of birth format
The date of birth should be in the following format: DD.MM.YYYY (e.g., 20.10.1992).
5. Upload the file
Drag and drop or click to add the completed Excel file, then select Next.
6. Assign opt-ins, contact list, or tags
If required, assign opt-ins, add to a contact list, or add tags. Then, select Next and click Process Import to start the import.
