Connect your shop system to add a box to collect phone numbers after a customer orders, so you can contact them via WhatsApp in the future.

Configuring the widget

You first need to set-up a 💬Message opt-in that the subscriber will be assigned to when they opt-in via the thank you page.

  1. Once you’ve created a Message opt-in, go to Automations → Thank You Page Opt-In

  2. Make sure your store is selected

  3. Select the Message opt-in you created before getting started

  4. Toggle ON Enable Order Opt-in

  5. In the Opt-in request tab, update the text and link (note: repeat for any additional languages) (please note: multi-languages isn’t support yet):

6. Adjust the styling of the widget

7. Under Advanced options → Widget display target (CSS Selector) insert a CSS selector for the widget to appear on your site. You can use the following default CSS selectors:

  • Shopify: .page--thank-you .main__content .step__sections > .section, .page--checkout-one-thank-you .main__content .step__sections > .section

  • Shopware 5: .is--act-finish .finish--teaser

  • WooCommerce: .woocommerce-order

8. Select Save:

9. In the Success message tab, configure the success message. This is the message that’s displayed one the contact has left their details

10. Select Save:

When successful, the widget will automatically appear on the shop order confirmation page. After the customer has submited their details, they’ll recieve an order confirmation message and the opt-in status will be automatically set as active. You’ll also find the associated order with the newly created Contact.
