Check and grow your synced Klaviyo contacts
Updated over 2 months ago

A contacts is synced if their Klaviyo profile is linked to their charles profile. For this to happen, Klaviyo needs to have the WhatsApp phone number or charles needs to have the email address used for Klaviyo.

The synced status is required to see the charles opt-in status in Klaviyo (using it for segmentation)

Check status quo

Hereโ€™s how you can find the current ratio of synced contacts.

  1. Set up a new Segment in Klaviyo with the rule "Charles opt-in Status is true"

2. Select Create Segment

3. Sync this segment to charles. See Klaviyo Segments and Lists steps 2-7
4. Set Up a new segment in charles with all single or double opt-ins

5. Now you can find out how high the ratio of synched contacts is

Example:

  • Klaviyo Segment with charles Opt-In: 1500

  • Charles Segment with single or double opt-In: 2500

  • Ratio: 60%

  • Rest: 1000
