This process allows for a seamless customer experience from browsing products to completing a purchase, all within the conversation interface.
The shop products overview and Cart creation will be available if you have the Shopify integration or if you are Importing product data.
Step 1: Accessing the Conversation
To begin, navigate to the "Conversations" page and open a conversation with the customer. Once inside the conversation, you will see two tabs on the right side: Shop and Cart.
Step 2: Browsing Products
Select the Shop Tab: Click on the "Shop" tab.
Choose the Shopify Store: From the dropdown menu, select the relevant Shopify store you want to access.
View Products: All the products in your store will now be visible. You can scroll through the list or use the search function to find specific products.
Step 3: Adding Products to the Cart
Search for a Product: Use the search bar to find the desired product.
Select the Product: Click on the product you want to add to the cart.
Add to Cart: If the product is available, you will see an option to add it to the cart. Click the cart icon in the bottom-right corner to add the item to the cart.
Step 4: Managing the Cart and Proceeding to Checkout
Adjust Product Quantity: Once a product is added, you can adjust the quantity in the cart to fit the customer's needs.
Add Discounts: You also have the option to apply a discount code to the items in the cart.
Enter Shipping Details: After creating the cart and adding any necessary discounts, you will need to fill out the shipping address and any additional notes.
Checkout Button: Click the Checkout button to proceed. Alternatively, you can add a new address if the customer doesn't have one saved.
If the customer already has a profile on Shopify, their registered shipping address and customer details will automatically populate.
Step 5: Sending the Payment Link
Once the checkout details are complete, a payment link will be sent to the customer via the chat. The customer can click on the link to complete the payment, and once done, the order will be finalized.
Additional Features:
> Multiple Locations: You can view and select from multiple locations in the cart (if available) to choose the one with available stock.
> Commerce Information: All related commerce data, such as orders, products, carts, and deals, can be found in the system.
> Commerce Template: You can also create a commerce template to send the order information and payment link in a custom message format.
You may send a Chatout template only within a 24h customer service window. This window starts when a customer messages you.
